João Victor Vila began making music as a teenager in Rio de Janeiro, long before he imagined it would become his profession. Over the years, working with independent productions, mixing, sound design and music production gradually shaped the way he approaches a score. Not simply as music placed over a scene, but as part of the world and the story itself. Today he composes for film, television, games and other narrative projects, always looking for the sound, texture or melody that gives a story a little more of its own identity.
